ReplyDeleteI am new to couponing and have a question. The deal on the Birds Eye...I went to Kroger and the Birds Eye that is on sale are the plain vegetables, but the coupon is for the Lightly Sauced ones. I went ahead picked up one of the plain bags (since they were only $1) to see if the coupon would still work, and it did. The cashier scanned it, and it doubled...so I only payed $0.30 for a bag of frozen corn. My question is...is that common...the coupon still applied even though it was for a different product?
ReplyDeleteKaren - Although this is fairly common as the manufacturer's don't always code the coupons correctly, I wouldn't recommended making a habit out of using coupons for items other than what they were intended for. Thanks for pointing out this out! I put this post up before I went to Kroger and forgot to take it down after I saw that these weren't included.
